Can I set up KidSecured remotely?

To get the full number of monitoring features, you need to have the device jailbroken. If you don’t want to jailbreak the device, you can buy the KidSecured app with a non-jailbreak option. It contains the following features: Contacts, Call logs, Text messages, Browser history, WhatsApp, Installed Applications. Before choosing between options, make sure one of them meets your expectations.

Does jailbreak void the warranty? Can I restore the warranty?

The jailbreak procedure voids the warranty. To restore it, you’ll need to update an iOS version or bring the device back to the factory settings. To keep KidSecured effective on the device, it shouldn't undergo any OS updates.

What happens after the Jailbreak procedure?

When the jailbreak is done, an icon of Cydia will be visible on the target device’s springboard. To find out how to remove it, check the relevant article in the Help section from your Parent Dashboard.

What does rooting mean? Does it void the warranty? Should I root an Android device to install KidSecured?
